Boot Camp is the institutionalized cruelty.
The aim is to humiliate and destroy the personality of the child.
My teenage daughter has survived training camp and hear their personal stories to encourage children to each other by heavy blows, and alienation. uh .. yeah. They have never been in the army so that I do not know. If you "break" someone, break all your bad habits and destructive behavior (alcohol to minors, smoking, sex, drugs) and once you have them broken ... how to correct everything else, too. So ... I do not see why this is a great company? Getting smoked .. or even much physical work is a little better than a beating.
Believe me, if ever forced to do push-ups until trir Drill Sergeant ... prolly not try to p * ss him again.
My child will learn to act for me with the same theory ... since I work in an exercise of the sergeant and no disobedience in my house ... What so ever.

I always thought that parents, things like training camps, schools, military use and so on. You have no parenting skills and should have had no children first. Really, if someone tries to set a boot camp I raise hell at this point ... lol I would ask to go home!
If other methods of discipline work, should not the young people the first thing. If the child is not yet enough to have done it, you can see the consequences.
I know what I mean, you can not just, but the children may die of exhaustion in training camp? To my knowledge, no death corporal punishment.
